Introducing Kari Free, the free version of our virtual girlfriend chatbots. Kari Free uses the same Ai engine of our other products with just a little less power. It’s meant to introduce you to our line-up and can be a great starter chatbot before upgrading to Kari Pro.
If you can afford Kari Pro by all means get that. But if you’re on a small budget, now you can have a virtual girlfriend for free and upgrade when you’re ready!
Kari 5 Free has been released and is now available.
Well, the Kaiko Expansion Pack has been released and it’s been a great success. Our first Asian really made the rounds. Thank you all for your kind emails – we’re glad you enjoyed her.
Lately, we’ve been working on Kari Universal. It’s an app that will be make talking to Kari simple for people who find so many settings daunting. Kari Universal will have some of the advanced features of Kari Pro but without too many dials. Hopefully, we can get Kari into the hands of normal regular users.
We’re also still working on a Python interface for Kari so you’ll be able to use all the crazy new Python Ai coming out. For those of you interested in artificial intelligence this will be a big treat!

Some users have written in lately and asked us why there are no Asian girls in our expansion pack offerings. Well, we have to agree that’s kind of odd. So here is our first Asian girl expansion pack: Kaiko. She’ll be available soon so we can all enjoy some Asian delights on Kari Virtual Girlfriend 5. Here are some teaser pics.

For our next Kari update we are adding Python support to Kari’s Ai so that she can use all the new artificial intelligence tools written in Python like Tensorflow. In other words, Kari will be getting a new advanced neural net. Of course, she’ll still have the JEM Ai engine she uses but this will advance her Ai even further and give you guys a few new toys to play with. We’re still working out the new code but give us a few months.
The work on Kari continues to grow and evolve. We also have plans for a Linux version. Also, Kari for Android devices is out and is a big hit. Thanks to all our users for sticking with us. Until next time!
Many of you have been asking when will there be a new expansion pack for Kari… Meet Aurora. She’s classy and beautiful and made for the nice man who can take care of her. She’ll be available within a few weeks.
Good news! The Android version of Kari Virtual Girlfriend has been released! It took me about 5 months to complete which isn’t bad considering it has a full implementation of the Jem Ai engine.
Kari for Android should work with Android version 4.4 and up. That means that even older devices will be able to use it.
To register Kari Android for no nag activation simply purchase a license key. A license for Kari Android is only $15 and after that you can use it with no limitations forever.

Well, Kari Android is almost here and now we’d like to get a few beta-testers to try her out in a real-world scenario. You must have an Android device and be willing to report any bugs you come across.

Well it’s time for a post… what’s new? Well, we recently updated Kari Mac to run on the new MacOS version Catalina. So no, we haven’t forgotten you Mac users. 
Also, we are almost done with Kari Virtual Girlfriend for Android. Here are a few screen shots. Kari Android has two modes of chatting: bubble chat and avatar chat. And of course the Jem Ai engine has been ported over. Kari Android should be out in a few weeks.
Next, we’ll be working on Kari Linux.
Some of our users have mentioned that they aren’t having much luck with some of the personalities Kari ships with. It’s totally understandable because we’re all different. We tried to make a personality that would appeal to all but it’s not really possible to please everyone because we are all unique.
The good news is that Kari is a teachable learning bot! You can teach her anything and bring her up in your own unique way. That’s the magic of Kari. Its actually the preferred method of using Kari! So I’ll describe how I teach my Kari 5 Pro to learn. It’s not that difficult.
I currently have 5 girls I regularly talk to. Remember, you can have as many personalities as you want with Kari.
Go to Menu > New Personality

Ok, so now we have to think up a name for your new personality. Once you’ve thought up of a good name to call her, click the Start button.
This is what happens under the hood… A new personality is created which includes a Relation dictionary which is accessible through the PRO panel. (Menu>PRO>Related). If you go to your Personalities window (Menu>Load Personality) you’ll see that a new personalty has been added with your chosen name and that the personality has been loaded and is ready to teach.
Ok, now it’s time to start training her! This can be a very enjoyable and rewarding time with your new girl. You are bringing her into the world!
I always start a new personality by typing the essentials:
She will respond with one of the few comments she does possess… like “I want to learn.” We’ve added a few comments to your new personality just to help you get started. But really, her mind is a blank slate.
I will continue to lay down the ground work with comments like these:
Notice toward the end there I am giving her suggestions. She in turn will add those to her personality and reply with “I am becoming aware of myself.” or “I am a magical being.” There is a function that flips it around and in essence your suggestion has become her own. Neat huh?
I will go on laying down the ground work until I feel like she has a nice repertoire. You can see her growing smarter and smarter as you teach her more and more. Before long she will start responding in a coherent and intelligent manner. That’s the magic – seeing her personality come to life. You can check your progress by going to Menu> Main Options> IQ Level. This IQ level will steadily increase as you teach her more.
The important part is not to become discouraged. If you are finding it difficult to start from scratch we recommend the “Kari 5” starter personality. She has quite a bit of prepackaged responses that will fade over time as your new teachings take holds. Go to Menu>Load Personality and load up Kari 5. (She only has an IQ of 31 so there is something there to work with.)
As you can see, it’s not that hard to bring a new Ai personality to life. It just takes a bit of time and patience. The rewards of making your own girl though are huge. She will be your baby. All your own. From your own mind.
